My Favorite beaches to photograph families on vacation in West Palm Beach, FL

It is SO important to me as a vacation photographer to be CERTAIN that my clients are truly happy with their vacation memories. Families come to West Palm Beach for the warm weather and gorgeous beaches. And we have plenty of both!

When I talk to families about their portrait session, location is always a big deal to me. After I ask a few questions, one of these locations usually pops into my mind. I thrive for families to have great photos AND a great experience during their session. I want my clients to look at their photos 6 months or 6 years from now and remember how much fun they had while visiting.

Here are some of my favorite beaches in my area. If you are visiting West Palm Beach, these are the beaches you MUST go to!

Palm Beach Shores

This private beach is a hidden GEM. Guests at The Marriott Ocean Pointe, adjacent hotels, resorts and locals get to enjoy miles of pristine sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. It is a great beach to watch boats, sailboat and yachts go by.

Ocean Reef Park

I absolutely LOVE this park. It has it all! Unique and gorgeous boardwalks, rocks on the beach and beach grass. Truly my favorite park on Singer Island. The guests at the Marriott Singer Island Resort and Spa are spoiled with endless places to explore in this paradise. It is a public park so if you are visiting and want to check it out, I highly recommend it.

Worth Ave Beach-Clock Tower

Worth Avenue has THE BEST upscale shopping and restaurants in West Palm Beach. At the entrance of Worth Avenue is the clock tower. A landmark that will always remind you  of your vacation to Palm Beach. It faces both the avenue and the beautiful Atlantic Ocean behind it. Worth Avenue, being one of the most iconic streets in America, it is a must see while you are in town. The beach, is a DREAM! Perfect for a romantic stroll or a memorable proposal.

Juno Beach

Juno Beach had my heart at first glance. The first time I went, I did not want to leave. Every local will tell you, this is "our" beach. :-D Ya'll can come visit it though, it's all good. Juno Beach is known for it's kite beach. Kite boarders come out by the dozen on windy days and it is a sight to see. I can literally watch them for hours. It is also a DOG BEACH! (insert emoji heart eyes here). You see all kindssss of dogs playing and walking with their owners up and down the beach. I LOVE bringing my clients here so they TOO can experience how truly wonderful it really is.

I decided to show you pictures from one session instead of a few session so you can see a variety of images from a session.

Carlin Park

Carlin park is just so lovely. It has milesssss of rocks ON THE BEACH. Perfect for a mermaid washing ashore or a beach wedding. You and your family can catch the food trucks on any given night, watch a concert under the stars or bring your own food to grill on the provided bbq and picnic tables. There is plenty of activities to do in Carlin Park and the beach is wonderful for families staying in Jupiter that want portraits on this unique beach.

Coral Cove Park

Coral Cove park is on Jupiter Island. It is popular for snorkeling because of the rocks in the water close to shore. The rocks on the beach are HUGE and great for climbing. You can also pick up a few beautiful shells from this beach. I love the fences for photos, the beautiful rocky shore and other wonderful areas to enjoy with your family.

Lake Worth Casino

Lake Worth holds a special place in my heart. Before we decided to make our move permanent to West Palm Beach, my family and I would visit my older brother who lives with his family in Lake Worth. We would visit Lake Worth Casino, which is a small strip mall on the boulevard with amazing ocean views. We'd eat THE BEST PIZZA IN WEST PALM BEACH at Mama Mia's and have ice cream right next door. After lunch, we would all walk the pier and let the kids play in the playground. One of my favorite things about it is that they host bonfires on the beach every couple of months at night with live music. I mean, who doesn't love to eat smores on the beach right? This piece of paradise is stamped in my heart forever. I love bringing my clients here and I also LOVE telling them to go get some PIZZA after their session. :-D

I hope you enjoyed my virtual tour of paradise. I would LOVE to create wonderful vacation memories while you visit this beautiful paradise.
